Hyun-sil wants to be a poet because that’s the only way she can express herself. She has written four poems already, but needs one more to enter a poetry contest as the deadline looms near. On a summer’s day, the impatient aspiring poet meets different people, reflects on herself and her relationships, and struggles to finish that all-important fifth poem. Light yet contemplative, writer-director Kim Jong-jae’s charming debut feature subtly depicts a restless woman’s growth and self-discovery through exploring the essence of art and the creative process.
