After his disturbing indie debut Siblings of the Cape, writer-director Shinzo Katayama makes a brilliant transition to commercial genre cinema with this highly entertaining and unpredictable serial killer thriller. When her widower father Satoshi suddenly vanishes, teenager Kaede searches for him. When she goes to his old workplace, she finds a stranger answering to her father’s name. To make things worse, the young man looks awfully like the suspected serial killer on the wanted posters seen around the city. Kaede’s search for the connection between her father and the terrifying serial killer will keep you at the edge of your seat.
