Actress Hiam Abbass returns to Tiberias, where she left her family for France to pursue her dream 30 years ago, accompanied by her daughter, filmmaker Lina Soualem. The aftermath of the 1948 Palestine War leads to the separation between family members across generations. Focusing on four women in her family - her great-grandmother, her grandmother, her mother, and her aunt, Soualem's camera draws a family portrait of a bloodline that inherits a destiny of displacement and an admirable strength "to leave everything and start anew".
