In the 90s, Saudi Arabia was gradually shifting to a state where all forms of art were not welcomed in the society. Norah is a young woman who lives in a remote village but has always longed for the beauty and vibrancy of the city. One day, Nader, a new school teacher who used to be a painter, arrives in the village. They decide to seek a creative outlet despite the great risk. Tawfik Alzaidi's outstanding first feature is a poignant story about two souls that are yearning for the freedom of artistic expression.
