The opening ceremony this year was held in ELEMENTS yesterday (on 27th October) at 7:40pm. HKAFF 2021 Festival Ambassador - Trial & Error (Neo Yau, Hui Yin, So Chi Ho), actors and filmmakers of the two opening films, 12 days and Madalena, came to the opening ceremony to meet the audience.
