At the Hong Kong premiere Fight For Tomorrow, producer Wong Tze-hwan, director Chan Tai-lee and the two lead actors Patrick Tam and Lam Ka-hei met with the audience at the cinema.

They were welcomed by the audience with thunderous applause. Many of them said that they were touched by the sincere and touching father-and-son relationship in the movie, and that the two fathers, Tam Yiu Man and Cheng Ho Nam, although seemingly distant from their sons, were willing to change themselves for them, coupled with the action scenes that made the two pairs of fathers and sons even more vividly portrayed.

Some viewers noticed the retro color scheme of the movie. The director said that this is in line with the theme of the movie, using nostalgic color tone to present the taste of the jianghu in the 80s and 90s, which makes it easier for viewers to get involved in the plot. The gold watch that appears throughout the film is also the director's idea, using it as a metaphor for the life of the protagonist, Sanburo, with hour hand turning or stopping to contrast with the ups and downs of his life, echoing the ever-changing relationship between Sanburoand his son.
