A leading figure of contemporary Japanese cinema, Shunji Iwai gained fame for his first feature Love Letter in 1995, and went on to produce classics like April Story, Swallowtail Butterfly and All About Lily Chou-Chou. HKAFF is honoured to have Iwai in Hong Kong this year to present his new film and attend the sharing session.
