Stanley Kwan is an award-winning Hong Kong film director and producer. His signature directorial work Rouge (1988) won 7 awards at the 8th Hong Kong Film Awards, including Best Film and Best Director. In 1998, Kwan won the Teddy Award for Best Feature Film at the Berlin International Film Festival for Hold You Tight. His works Full Moon in New York (1989) and Lan Yu (2001) won Best Feature Film and Best Director at the Golden Horse Awards respectively. In recent years, Kwan serves as a film educator and a producer for new film directors.
Ellen Y. D. Kim
Ellen Y. D. Kim is the Program Director of Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival since 2016. She has wide experience at various fields in the film industry since 1996, including international marketing, festival programming, film market managing and film producing. She is also the founder and producer of Flying Tiger Pictures, producing numerous arthouse films which participated in major film festivals worldwide.
Liu Jiayin is a writer-director from Mainland China. Graduated from the Beijing Film Academy, she currently serves as the Associate Professor in Screenwriting for the school. Liu is known for her unique cinematic style and thematic focus in China's independent filmmaking. Her debut feature Oxhide (2005) won two awards at the Berlin International Film Festival, while her second film Oxhide II (2009) was part of the Cannes’s selection. Her latest film All Ears (2023) has just won Best Director at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
