A discussion with TIDF on the thoughts behind programme planning, including an in-depth analysis of the films curated under festival section "Taiwanese Slices" and their backgrounds. We will also highlight the current state of Asian documentary filmmaking through two Asian works, and explore the support and policies in Taiwan for promoting local documentaries abroad. From there, we draw insights for the documentary industry in Hong Kong.
