Ordinary work-mum Li Hehe loses her 10-year job in Beijing, and decides to return to her hometown in search of a brighter future. While struggling to start a new life, her values on marriage, family and motherhood have taken a sharp turn, and she begins to challenge the meaning of traditional family and roles of females.
