After his innovative single-take time-travel comedy Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes, director Junta Yamaguchi and screenwriter Makoto Ueda reunite with the crew to once again reinvent the time loop genre with their highly-anticipated follow-up. When the staff of a Kyoto inn discover that they are trapped in a two-minute time loop, they go on a mad dash to unravel the loop before everything resets itself again and again. Another genius exercise in executing a clever sci-fi idea under a limited budget, this is crowd-pleasing indie filmmaking at its best.
