Film-loving hipster Ben is dumped by his girlfriend Miko when she takes an internship in New York City. Despite nursing a broken heart, Ben uses his new freedom to explore a long-held obsession—his attraction to white women—but soon follows Miko to New York, where he encounters rude awakenings and perhaps a path towards self-discovery. Based on Adrian Tomine’s graphic novel, and directed by actor and Marvel Studios alum Randall Park, this unexpected rom-com presents a hilariously complex, incisive and self-aware side of the Asian-American experience.
